Veteran’s Office - Please Note Office Location Change
Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00am - 3:00pm. Walk-ins are always welcome, however, we often visit home-bound Veterans so we encourage you to call our office first so we can reserve personal time for you. We are located on the first floor, West side of the Erath County Courthouse, Room 111. If you need wheelchair assistance, park in front of the ramp located on the South side of the building in the handicap parking and call us. We will meet you outside to assist you up the ramp.
We are not a part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, more commonly known as the "VA". The County Veterans’ Service Officer is appointed by the County Commissioners Court to serve Erath County veterans and their families. We appreciate the opportunity and privilege to serve you.
